Project Brief: The Zed Probe
The ZED Probe is a poster commission for Jack Baker, a science fiction enthusiast and model builder who answered my call for commissions on Deviant Art. He wanted a very large poster illustration of a model spacecraft he built based on the old British science fiction show Space 1999.
Jack sent me some pictures of the model he wanted me to draw and holy smokes is it a complicated beast:
Thankfully, Jack sent me a photo of the model at the exact angle he wanted for his poster.
Still, I have my work cut out for me with this one.
The end result will be in a style similar to this drawing I did for Ad Astra Games:
